I initially trained as a Military Accountant in the Royal Army Pay Corps. Since leaving I have retrained with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers of which I am a fully qualified member and with whom I hold a Practice Licence.

As well as 30 years experience in various aspects of bookkeeping I have also been directly involved with the running of several small businesses, including licensed catering premises, tourism and retail and consequently have first hand knowledge of HMRC requirements and systems from both the business owners and bookkeepers point of view.
